Ok girla - it's pretty poor quality, but here's my contribution, on YouTube, of Lisa J's book.
That's "girls" not girla! Lol.
PPS. apparently it takes about 6hrs for the audio clip to fully load, so you'll only hear part of it for now. Which is a pity, as it's really quite appropriate for the subject.
Oh wow! good idea doing the vid clip! I love seeing how all the pages move and reveal and change. So many wonderful things to see! Lisa's gonna love this! The little bird above the archway is perfect. Love everything you've done here Debrina! Good on you!!Ps: I don't mind being a girla, looks kinda posh! lol

Been buried in family chill out time and catching up with the blogs now. Wow Debs, absolutely fabulous piece! Love all the folding pieces and layers of fabrics. Can't wait to see it all in person and drool, LOL! Oh and I don't mind being a girla either. Makes me kinda exotic!
i am a girla! and this girla is in LOVE with all of your amazing, mind blowingly detailed and gorgeous work! i know i told you this while chatting yesterday, but i'm telling you again now, here. the video is fantastic too!! i should try doing that one of these days. i know just the song i'd use for your book! i so, soooooo can't wait to see this in person. to kim then to me, right? i hope!(speaking of which, i FINALLY have part of your book piece ready to go -- it's a primary piece and it took since january to properly age so off i go, back to work on yours!)
Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful video. Without it, it would be hard to appreciate the complexity of the construction. It is wonderful to follow these books as they travel from artist to artist. Thank you!
Hello lovely, lovely girlas!! Well I'm happy because it seems I've invented a new word! Lol. Thankyou for your incredible comments! Kim, Ill send Lisa's book to you this week. Which remindds me, Lisa S, I received your book from Kim last week - it is fantastic but I can't work in it unless I break the spine, as the book actually won't fold out properly because of its new thickness. Can you let me know if it's alright to do this? I have done it one hundreds of books over teh years as it is sometimes the only way to fix books at my library. So, what I'm saying is, your book will be in good hands. I have BIG plans for my pages you see...and I want to get started! Lol!
